Information you give us

  • Enquiry forms (on the homepage and service pages): your name, phone number, email address and message.
  • Comment form (on the “Hello world!” post): your name, email address, an optional website address and your comment. Comments are held privately for moderation and are not published automatically.

How form submissions are handled

  • Each submission is saved in a database hosted by Cloudflare so that your request is not lost.
  • Enquiries are sent by email to our team inbox using Cloudflare’s email sending service. Your email address is set as the reply address so we can answer you. Comments do not trigger an email notification.
  • To protect the forms from spam and abuse, a Cloudflare Turnstile verification runs when you submit a form. Turnstile receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to tell people from automated traffic.
  • We keep short-lived counters to limit repeated submissions. These use a coded (hashed) form of your IP address and email address rather than the plain values.

Information collected automatically

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking on this website.

How we use your information

  • To keep the website and its forms secure and free from spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. It is processed by the service provider that runs this website (Cloudflare) on our behalf, and we may disclose it where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details above.

You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set cookies during an ordinary visit and does not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers. It uses only the following storage, each of which is needed for a feature you choose to use:

  • Form drafts (session storage in your browser): while a form is being submitted, a temporary copy of your entries is kept in your browser so they are not lost if the page reloads. It is removed once your submission is accepted, and session storage ends when you close the browser tab.
  • Saved comment details (local storage in your browser): only if you tick “Save my name, email and website in this browser for the next time I comment”, your name, email and website are stored on your device to pre-fill the comment form. Untick the box on your next comment, or clear your browser data, to remove them.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: when you submit a form, a verification service is loaded from Cloudflare (challenges.cloudflare.com). It may use its own cookies or similar storage strictly to protect the form from automated abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Because this website uses only this strictly necessary storage, it does not show a cookie banner. If optional cookies or tracking are ever added, we will ask for your consent first.
